Having A Berry Good Time On Mt. Baker, 9.1.14
Last weekend Neighbor Greg and I went hiking on Mt. Baker and our journey led us through vast meadows filled with ripe blueberries and huckleberries. Today Bridgit and I headed back to the same trailhead and picked eight pints of berries in just over two hours along the trail. In short order she made a wild blueberry/huckleberry pie and we still have lots of berries left over for huckleberry pancakes and blueberry waffles.
